Hitting All the Right Notes
Home Cinema Power
Studio Precision
Audiophile-approved Tuning
Back when Chane Music & Cinema coined Real Big Sound for our hyper-competitive model A Series, we conceived of even bigger sound. A colossal, “prosumer” sound with the precision of a studio monitor and the finesse of an audiophile thoroughbred.
But big theater dynamics and scope still need real musical speed and transparency - audiophile stuff but from a capable, prosumer speaker. And ideally this audiophile-approved, prosumer sound arrives without the usual really big audiophile price tag.
Let customers speak for us
from 186 reviewsEvery time I listen to these speakers, they absolutely blow me away. Whenever I put on a song I haven't heard through them before, I discover new details I'd never noticed. The soundstage is incredible—close your eyes and you can visualize exactly where each musician is positioned, whether recorded in the studio or live at a concert.
I used to be a dedicated subwoofer enthusiast, but these speakers converted me back to a purist 2.0 setup. While the bass doesn't extend quite as low, it still sounds remarkably full and satisfying.
The packaging was exceptional. Despite some shipping damage to the outer box, the double-boxing and protective foam kept the speakers in perfect condition.
Setup was straightforward, and the included spikes were a nice touch that made a noticeable difference.
For their price point, I don't believe you can find better speakers anywhere. I certainly haven't, and I've tested several highly-regarded "reference" systems in the sub-$5,000 per pair range.

When I first added Atmos height speakers (from another brand) I was convinced that we were only getting some random effects up there, like rain or a helicopter or spaceship flyover. A recent audio show demo convinced me that mixers have now moved beyond that and are using the height channels for music and even some spoken effects. I wanted a speaker that reached down to 80Hz so I could run them at the same crossover as the rest of the system. These seem like a bit of an upgrade from my prior speakers that cutoff around 110Hz, and they were priced less. I would have preferred to have a speaker diagram (at least online) that helps with placement and drilling for wall mounting, but I made my own. Happy so far, and I'll probably get another pair in the near future to upgrade the front height channels.

Why I bought them. Engineering, front baffle shaped with no sharp edges so it decreases diffraction, 26 pounds well braced cabinet decreases box resonance, ring dome tweeter, apex of dome tweeters is where distortion happens with break up, ring dome takes away the apex decreasing distortion, woofer with cast aluminum basket and light weight poly cone, got a quick look at crossover, solen poly caps no electrolytics, air core inductors, maybe 1 iron core, no sand cast resistors, even the grill has the inside edge rounded off for no sharp edges again decreasing diffraction and have magnetic attachment. What I have driving them, the sources, Technics 1210 GAE, Bel Canto e1 phono, bel canto e1 cd3t, bel canto e1 stream, bel canto e1 2.7 DAC, preamp Jolida fusion, power amp Odyssey Khartago, SVS sb12 plus sub, speakers sit on Target MR 24 inch stands sand filled for 83 pounds each side speaker included. Yes the speakers are the least expensive component in my system. why? because they are that good. Seriously go watch some videos of Danny Ritche from GR research breaking down some top name brand speakers and look at what you get for the money compared to these. Had these over a year now still loving them, 1 upgrade I made was KLEI low mass binding posts.

DISCLAIMER: I NOT AN AUDIOPHILE. I’m an enthusiast who enjoys music and movies. I don’t care about measurements, I care about how things sound.
For context I’ve had the following budget bookshelf speakers and the Chane A1.5 are the ones I kept
- Emotiva B1+
- Klipsch RP-600 M II & 500 M II
- Kef Q150
- Triangle BR02
- Magnat Signature 503
- JBL 530
While not the most attractive looking (with grilles off), the A1.5 is without question the most robustly built. The cabinet is very dense. The grille even feels solid
As far as sound, the treble is detailed yet very smooth. Unlike the Emotiva B1+ (which I like) the treble was not “dry” sounding. It’s very engaging and refined for the price category; the most refined of the above speakers.
The speaker has slight V curve but not at all a “showroom” sound. Vocals are clear and intelligible.
The bass is strong, yet not over done.

I have owned the 753 and 752 models for 3 years now, everyday with these speakers still seems to me like I'm in the honeymoon phase, I recently acquired a Schiit Freya+ which runs to a MPS-1 amplifier with two blades installed as I'm currently running my 753 in a 2.0 setup, for 2ch use the 753 are stunning, like any speaker you need to find that perfect toe in/out and placement and wow, I literally stayed up till almost 5am(home alone) listening to so many albums as I just couldn't stop myself until eventually my brain said time for sleep.
The clean dynamic and enveloping sound these produce is absolute and literally gives me goosebumps and the chills with those albums and singles that I know so well. Music is just beyond what I have ever previously heard through other systems.

Great build quality, cabinet feels solid as a rock. High sensitivity and great sound. Came securely double boxed, too. Will definitely order from chane again!

"Across the board, at say -4MV things sound less 'loud' yet more detailed. This indicates to me low levels of distortion at very high volume. I notice cues/details in the space that I know I didn't notice prior and thats exciting....
Oppenheimer test- Reviews have stated that Nolan movies can have dialogue issues, the music/LFE can drown out the words etc. The ending sequence is noted by a reviewer with a high end setup as suffering. On my setup I was able to make out every word pretty clearly even while 115-120db LFE is roaring in the final sequence. So this was a major test that the 752 did a fantastic job on."

"These speakers are not only impressive, they have made my entire system seem to sound better. I notice things like a more dynamic blend between the mains/center and my surrounds/atmos setup, especially my atmos setup, this is likely the 3 dimensionality at play. The 2.4As in surround duty are absolutely wonderful, one of the things I really care about is a strong phantom image between mains and surrounds, here the 753s and 2.4As blend in a really convincing way. The center upgrade was a big one, I expected differences to be subtle, expecting the mains to carry a big load on the center image. I didn't consider how the center is playing alot more then just dialogue, that is now apparent as I'm hearing and noticing alot more front to back detail in the middle of the sound stage. The 753s have added tremendous detail and in playing movies I'm very familiar with I'm noticing sounds at different depths that I did not notice prior. In general I'm just noticing new things left and right."

I’ve owned speakers from many different brands (Emotiva, Goldenear, JBL, Infinity, Monolith, Magnat to name a few) and these are unquestionably the best. The treble is detailed, refined and resolving, yet very smooth. Absolutely no listening fatigue. The midrange is very present with voices sounding full and natural. The bass is tight and authoritative yet has tone and nuance.
The way this speaker projects sound is amazing; it’s holographic and enveloping. These are my living room speakers in a 2.1 setup. People frequently question if we have surround sound because of the speakers ability to place sounds throughout the room.
These speakers are a pleasure to listen to.

VERY neutral. I'm used to horn loaded, in your face treble. While not recessed by any means, the L3 play more like "as it was intended" I think. No false bumps in treble, bass etc.
SOOOOOO smooth, yet superb clarity. Every sound they play is perfectly audible and clear, but not "sterile". They just sound expensive.

I have owned these speakers for about 7 months and use them primarily for Home Theater purposes (at least once a day), they are connected to a 2018 Denon-X3500H Receiver which is connect to a LG-OLED C8 (2018 version). I do not use a SubWoofer (in an apartment, would be too loud), and use 4 rear speakers (small energy satellite speakers), I use the Chane 2.4 as my center. I very much enjoy this setup, the sound is clear and detailed. The only speakers I have owned/own that I can compare these to are the Energy's, a pair of Sony Core speakers, HTD Level 3 Bookshelf, Polk S-15 bookshelf, and Polk LSIM Center speaker. I personally think these are better all-around speakers, delivering just enough bass, highs, and clarity in dialogue. If anything I think they can be improved when I add a sub to my set, but that will have to wait. I also sometimes want a little more higher highs, but I know that can be fatiguing. Overall I highly recommend :)

I've had mine for around six months now and I've been loving them. They're a pleasure to listen to. The clarity is night and day over my old JBLs.

I have had these speakers for over a month and have given it plenty of time/hours to break in. I watch tv/movies about 90% of the time with these and they perform phenomenally. I also use a 2.4 Center and 1.5's as the rear surrounds. All together this system never ceases to amaze me and makes watching movies very enjoyable. I use this system in a room that is roughly 17ft by 15ft with no sound dampening, but I believe the Denon audio adjustment (Audyssey) formats the speakers well for my space. The Denon is a 3400H. They are also gorgeous speakers and can be placed close to or far away from a wall for aesthetic reasons. However I will note that they do sound a bit better at least a foot or two from a wall. I have only compared these to JBL 530 and HTD Level 3, the Chane's in my opinion are a better speaker suited to my taste.

Absolutely incredible sound at any price. And for this price, these are an absolute steal. They sound so good, the highs have amazing clarity, the bass is so good, you could easily get away without adding a dedicated sub woofer. I have the 2.4's as a center, which is equally as good. I have used the center with an incredible front stage with movies and netflix. We also have Hulu TV, which broadcasts many shows and movies in 2 channel. The A 5.5s work so darn well in that regard, you could easily convince me that the center was functioning. Bottom line, I agonized over what brand to go with, the more you read, the harder the decision becomes. I'm writing this not to just endorse Chane, but to help those out who have endless debates with themselves on what speakers to buy that will give them the best sound. Save yourself the headache and stress and just buy these!
